It’s really been riotous interacting with the electricians and plumbers here, an interaction that has been going beyond mere recognition and explanations. You see, we have moved our dwelling across 7 American States and 12 cities. And for each relocation that we have been made to go for, we’ve, I mean my hubby, Greg and I, have had something amusing to chance upon in our numerous interactions with the Home improvement workers here- be it the technician on plumbing, electric works, gardening. Whatever you can think of, we’ve had a hell of a job getting them to do the work as per our exact specifications on that. Somehow, irrespective of the state and the city we have been shifting to, Greg and I have been extremely fussy about one issue- we would like our house to be in rollicking shape. The look and aura has to impersonate our lively and chirpy personality. Well, a sufficient dose of class coming out in our home accessories is also something that we actually wouldn’t mind at all. So to narrate one amusing encounter Greg had with this particular Tacoma Plumber who was kind of hard of hearing. Just when he rang the doorbell, and I took it- I said that I was so glad to see him as we were cooling our heels since a long time to get our plumbing work started. Just when I said that, he flipped and asked me bewildered- “Why would you be ‘sad’ to see me?” I was like- “Whoa! Hold it. When did I say that I’m sad, I said glad.” Then Greg asked him to clean the pipes well. And he flipped and said-“Sorry Sir! I cannot clean the car window swipes. I am only a plumber, not a cleaner.” And Greg started to scratch his head in perplexity. Then I went up to Greg and conveyed to him that the guy was not too good at hearing correctly. is this what Tacoma Plumbing is all about. After he went away, I could hear my neighbor Ruth complaining over some substandard Plumbing works in the town. Are all Tacoma Plumbers mechanized like that?
